What happens during the facial
It starts with a skin analysis so Leica can see what your skin needs that day. Each step after that is chosen for your skin rather than following a fixed recipe.

With or without a peel
A professional peel adds exfoliation and can help fade post-acne marks, so the facial guide suggests the peel version if marks are part of your concern. It is also how you try a peel on a first visit, since stand-alone peels are for returning clients.

What to tell Leica first
After you book, an intake form arrives by email. Use it to list any acne medications or prescription creams, recent procedures or sun exposure, and whether a dermatologist is treating your skin.
If you take Accutane, have cystic acne under a dermatologist's care, or are pregnant and unsure what is safe, check with your doctor before booking and note it on the form. Leica will adjust the treatment to what your skin can handle that day. For two to three days before, skip retinoids and exfoliating acids.
Home care between visits
What you do between appointments matters too. The Breakouts & oily skin routine is designed to keep pores clear and oil in balance without stripping the skin.
AHAs can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen every day. Breakouts take time to settle, and steady home care plus regular acne facials make the biggest difference. Many clients book every 4 to 6 weeks.
